Junior QA Engineer in Quantum Solutions

We are now seeking a Junior QA Engineer to join our Kyiv office. Requirements

• At least 6 months of hands-on experience in software QA.

• Solid understanding of QA methodologies, testing types, tools, and the full defect lifecycle.

• Experience working with bug-tracking systems (e.g., Jira) and test management tools (e.g., TestRail).

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with excellent attention to detail.

• Effective communication and collaboration abilities, capable of working in a cross-functional environment.

• Intermediate (B1+) English proficiency, both written and spoken.

Will be a plus

• Experience with API testing (e.g., Postman) and understanding of RESTful services.

• Basic knowledge of Python for automation or scripting tasks.

• Familiarity with test automation tools and frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Playwright).

• Experience working with version control systems (e.g., Git).

• Knowledge of performance testing tools (e.g., JMeter).

• Understanding of cloud platforms (e.g., AWS).

• Familiarity with containerization technologies (e.g., Docker).

• Experience in testing AI/ML or LLM-based systems (RAG pipelines, model output evaluation, etc.).

• Knowledge of evaluating AI outputs (accuracy, consistency, hallucinations, and other quality signals).

Responsibilities

• Create, maintain, and execute detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test cases and checklists.

• Perform various types of testing, including functional, regression, smoke, UI, and exploratory testing.

• Execute tests, analyze results, and report defects with clear, concise, and thorough documentation.

• Collaborate closely with the development team to understand requirements, define test strategies, and ensure the testability of new features.

• Participate in all phases of the software development lifecycle—from requirements analysis and design to development, testing, and deployment.

• Conduct manual testing when needed to explore new functionality, identify automation opportunities, or validate complex scenarios.

• Stay informed about industry trends, tools, and best practices in Quality Assurance to support continuous improvement.
