We are looking for a Junior IT Support / System Administrator to join our growing team in Lviv (office-based with hybrid flexibility). You will support our internal IT infrastructure and ensure the smooth operation of systems, networks,hardware and software equipment. As part of the internal operations team, you will collaborate with technical experts and help maintain a secure, efficient, and well-documented IT environment.

Responsibilities

  • Provide first-line IT support to internal employees, including troubleshooting hardware and software issues.
  • Install, configure, and maintain workstations, laptops, and office equipment.
  • Maintain office and personal hardware
  • Manage MDM profiles and execute an incident response plan
  • Maintain infrastructure BCP (Business Continuation Plan)
  • Assist with configuration and monitoring of LAN/Wi-Fi, VPN, and office networking devices (routers, switches, access points).
  • Support installation and maintenance of Windows and Linux operating systems.
  • Manage user accounts and permissions (including Active Directory).
  • Participate in monitoring system performance and supporting basic backup and recovery procedures.
  • Maintain accurate IT documentation, procedures, and knowledge base articles.
  • Ensure compliance with internal IT policies and security standards.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external service providers (internet, hosting, hardware vendors).

Requirements

  • 1+ year of experience in a similar position as IT support, technical support or system administration
  • Strong knowledge of Windows, MacOS and Linux OS (installation, updates, basic troubleshooting).
  • Understanding of networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS, VLAN).
  • Familiarity with computer hardware, peripherals, and office equipment.
  • Ability to follow technical instructions and established procedures.
  • Strong attention to detail, responsibility, and willingness to learn.
  • English level sufficient for reading technical documentation.
  • Previous IT support internship or relevant courses will be a plus.

Nice to have

  • Experience with ticketing systems (Jira, Zendesk, Freshdesk, etc.).
  • Basic PowerShell or Bash scripting skills.
  • Understanding of IT security principles.
  • Familiarity with monitoring tools (Zabbix, Grafana, etc.).
  • Technical certifications (CompTIA, Microsoft, Linux) are a plus.
