Join SkyUp as an IT security specialist

In this role you will:

• Monitor and detect incidents:

- Continuous monitoring of cyber security systems (SIEM, IDS/IPS, antivirus platforms, etc.) in order to identify potential incidents.
- Analysis of notifications, events and logs to identify suspicious activities.
- Administration of protection systems (SIEM, IDS/IPS, anti-virus platforms, etc.)

• Process and prioritize incidents:

- Registration, classification and determination of criticality of information security incidents.
- Escalation of incidents according to established procedures.

• Respond to incidents:

- Operational coordination of the IS incident response process.
- Participation in the investigation of incidents together with the team of system administrators and other - responsible units.
- Preparation of reports based on the results of investigations and recommendations for improving security.

• Develop detection systems and protection:

- Optimization of incident detection methods and techniques.
- Participation in the implementation and configuration of new protection tools (SIEM, antivirus, DLP, EDR, access control systems, etc.).

• Work with IS regulatory documentation:

- Development and updating of internal information security instructions, policies, procedures and provisions.
- Control of compliance with policies and procedures in all divisions of the company.

• Awareness and train staff:

- Conducting trainings, briefings and increasing employee awareness of cyber threats, phishing and rules for safe work with information.
- Development of materials on cyber hygiene.

• Control access and IT infrastructure:

- Monitoring and elimination incidents within the IT infrastructure.
- Support/Administration of access control systems (ACS) and video surveillance systems. If necessary, replacement and installation of equipment.
- Identification of possible channels of interference and unauthorized access attempts.

We expect from you:

• At least 5 years of experience in related IT areas: technical supportimka, system administration, work with computer networks.
• Experience in the field of information security from 1.5-2 years (will be an advantage).
• Understanding of cybersecurity principles, threat models, and typical attack vectors.
• Hands-on experience with SIEM, EDR, anti-virus solutions and security monitoring systems (a plus).
• Knowledge of network principles (TCP/IP, VLAN, VPN, DNS, DHCP) and experience in network traffic analysis (Wireshark).
• Experience with firewalls (FortiGate, Cisco, MikroTik or similar): auditing, rule optimization, basic configuration.
• Understanding of Microsoft 365 Security, Microsoft Defender, Azure AD/Entra ID.
• Skills with Windows Server, Active Directory, GPO and basic knowledge of Linux.
• Experience with video surveillance and access control systems (as a plus).
• Ability to keep documentation: policies, procedures, IS registers, reporting.
• Ability to conduct internal audits (access, firewall rules, system settings).
• Higher technical education in the fields of cyber security, information security, computer science, telecommunications or information technology.
