Database Administration in TBC Bank

Main tasks:

• Install and maintain the performance of database servers
• Develop processes to optimize database security
• Establish and maintain database standards
• Manage database access
• Tuning the performance of database systems
• Install, update and manage database applications
• Identifying and Resolving Database Errors
• Recommend and implement new database technologies
• Create and manage reports, visualizations, and database dashboards
• Automate repetitive database tasks
• Be available for on-call support as needed
• Respond to user bug reports in a timely manner
• Protecting the database from threats or unauthorized access
• Provide database backup for recovery in case of data loss
• Performing a Periodic Database Recovery Test

Primary requirements:

• Knowledge of data manipulation languages, including MS SQL, Oracle Database and PostgreSQL
• Knowledge of PL/SQL, RMAN, Oracle Data Guard and Oracle RAC technologies
